Dalma is a special, atypical artist for the way she carved her musical career path and for her own manner of being conspicuous and different from any known standards.
Dalma experienced many different music genres and styles all throughout her career, inspiring herself from great international success divas like Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Ella Fitzgerald and others, studying their repertoire and singing techniques. In the early years,
Dalma took in her experience on stage by singing in several bands ( jazz, pop, rock ), taking a share in many festivals, adding up to her already impressive award record. Due to her outstanding voice, attitude and stage appearance, Dalma was bestowed a part in the World Premiere of “Viva Concha, Rose of the Presidio” musical, staged in San Francisco USA in 2006. Moreover, she has claimed her own jazz concert in Forest Hill Club in San Francisco. Dalma had her Romanian breakthrough by winning a TV singing contest, prevailing against 2500 other contestants. Even before the final was over Dalma was invited to take part as a singing actor in the longest aired most notorious Romanian comedy TV show called “Divertis”, an important gain for her public image and exposure.
Dalma continued here independent artists path and she has recently released her first music video for the song “Love Me Sweet” and is currently working together with Marius Moga for her debut album, in all likelihood due to be out by the end of 2010.
