Born into the world as twins, Kyle Anthony and Kendal Charles 21, best known as the Hip Hop Duo Clabo (short for collaboration), will soon be a force to reckon with. As the next generation of Hip Hop artist to hit the airwaves, these two may be identical in looks but fraternal in flows.

Rhyming since they were 14, the two rap about their real life experiences, situations and money. They’ve dropped their smooth rhymes is hallways cafeterias and clubs. They have taken a hiatus from college to focus exclusively on music and entertainment.

Musical influences are the late Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z, Rage against the machine, Green Day, jazz and classical music. Not leaving out their Caribbean heritage Damian Marley , Wyclef and Lenny Kravitz. Clabo has manage to create a style of their own complete with a mixture of the flavors their mentors have brought to the musical game.

“We think more outside of the box when it comes to our metaphors”, says Kyle who is the more vocal of the two.

Both boys studied music for nine years (9). Kendal plays the trombone, steel drum and key board. Kyle plays clarinet and steel drums.

The duo is currently working on their first album “Real” with the single schedule for release in early spring.

In addition to music Clabo has been getting their acting on. The pair made an appearance on the former HBO hit series, The Wire. They also made a cameo appearance in the music video for Graff(Sony recording artist), and also appeared in a local Downtown Locker Room commercial, frequently run in and around the DC Metropolitan Area.

Clabo would like to bring their own style and flow two Hip Hop: Live performances with a live band and a fusion of jazz, soul and rock. Easy to work with and full of talent the twins are ready to roll.
